Limer's BrotherI hid away from Limer. He couldn't know that he had a brother- me. I lived in the attic, and did the opposite things that he did. He went to bed, I woke up and begun my day, or rather, my night. He ate, and I used the bathroom. He never knew who I was. The only time I was really accepted was when Limer left the house, our parents banishing him to live elsewhere. I went down the stairs from the attic, and waited for my parents to notice me. "Well, now we only have one son. Now we can be normal parents," Dad was saying. "Yes, Carrot will be prosperous alone. Now, we can focus our efforts on him, and not that idiotic first son,Limer's Brother
Shadow part 2The red haired boy was coming. He was close. The shadows told me that the key was in his right pocket. I quickly changed my position, pulled an apple out from my pocket, and munched on it. If this boy had the key, my secret could be revealed to the entire world. If everyone knew, I would be considered a freak. I had to get the key back, before it was too late to stop him. Here he comes, the shadows whisper. I avoid looking up, and he walks by me, and then stops. "Who are you?" he asks. I look up, above my apple. "Who are you?" I ask back. I need to hurry and create an identity that will get me the key back. "JustShadow part 2
Shadow part oneI could hear the white-coated adults whispering things I shouldn't have heard. Things about my failure as an experiment, a waste of time, how they shouldn't have tried using a four-year-old girl to become shadow-infested. But the shadows are louder. They whisper things about other people, people outside the lab, beyond my small room. They whisper about the people who do important things, the people with lives. But I am not one of them. I have no life here. I am a mere experiment, created by people to see if I could control the shadows. They don't know it, but I have talked with the shadows.
